SHIMA SEIKI's P-CAM120C/160C/180C NC cutting machines (computerized cutting machines) are suitable for cutting CFRP and GFRP prepregs in sheet form. The cutting method can be selected from reciprocating knife, drag knife and ultrasonic cutter. The machine can also cut heat-fused materials, such as rubber, leather, flexible container bags, tent materials, fiberglass, rain gear, leather shoes, and sporting goods up to 20 mm thickness. Knife life is extended by motor-controlled height and depth adjustment. In addition, the machine is oil and dust resistant, and is equipped with state-of-the-art functions such as automatic cutter cleaning, double cut prevention, and a dedicated cutting brush. The cutting length can be as short as 880 mm for any cutting width, and the cutting area can be customized by extending the length according to the cutting application. Optional barcode input is available for reading cutting data, eliminating input errors and improving work efficiency. The machine can be delivered in sections for easy delivery and installation. In combination with the SDS-ONE APEX series CAD systems, integrated production systems for various industries such as automobiles, aircraft, and industrial materials are possible.
